For 13 years I was the special education teacher at Bakersfield High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Benjamin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Benjamin: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me special education in 2012 at Bakersfield High School. I still remember that terrible school play.
