Benjamin P. Sandoval
Coached martial arts for 42 years in Derry
- 🇬🇧 Derry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Derry Community Club
- Since 1984
- English
I've coached martial arts at Derry Community Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Benjamin
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Benjamin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
