I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Bengt
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Bengt: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
