Bello Bello Adebayo
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Youth Club
- 1979 to 2012
- English, Igbo
For 33 years I ran the badminton program at Lagos Youth Club in Lagos. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Bello
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Bello: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
