Beau F. Fernandez
37 years teaching biology in Atlanta
- 🇺🇸 Atlanta, Georgia, United States
- Atlanta Grammar School
- Since 2004
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Beau
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Beau: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
