I taught geography and physical education at Heritage Middle School, Bakersfield. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Beatriz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
