Beatriz M. Orozco
21 years teaching economics in Barranquilla
- 🇨🇴 Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia
- Barranquilla Grammar School
- Since 1989
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Beatriz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Beatriz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
