Beatriz M. Arias
Computer science and biology teacher, Xalapa
- 🇲🇽 Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico
- Starlight Middle School
- Since 2003
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
More about Beatriz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Beatriz: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me computer science in 2007 at Starlight Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
