I taught special education at San Jose Grammar School in San Jose from 1996 to 2023. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Beatriz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
