For 13 years I've run the netball program at Belo Horizonte St. Joseph's Swimming Club in Belo Horizonte. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Beatriz
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Beatriz: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
