For 37 years I have been the geography teacher at Sakura Boys' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Beatrix: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
