Beatrice Otieno
Choir director and singer
- 🇺🇬 Gulu, Northern Region, Uganda
- 1980 to 2010
- English, Swahili
I play jazz and accordion. I started in 1980 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Beatrice: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
