Beatrice Halima Mwangi
Painting and decorating, done properly
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- 2008 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I've worked in painting and decorating from 2008 to 2025. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 800 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
I'm still learning every day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Beatrice: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
