I taught religious studies at Harmony Technical College in Warsaw from 1989 to 2011. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
