Basma Zidan
Self-taught printmaking artist
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Arabic
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes photography. My first show was in 2017 at Old Cairo Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I never rush a conversation. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
