For 46 years I have been the history teacher at Mansoura High School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 920 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Basma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Basma: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me history in 1986 at Mansoura High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
