Bas Dirk De Wit
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Maple Ridge Repairs
- 2000 to 2019
- Dutch, English
I've worked in carpentry from 2000 to 2019. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 480 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
More about Bas
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Bas: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
