I taught economics at Jacaranda Grammar School in Rome from 2000 to 2024. Most days I taught primary school children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Barbara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Barbara: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I failed economics twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Hawassa.

You taught me economics in 2024 at Jacaranda Grammar School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
