I coached badminton at Windsor Sports Club from 2014 to 2022. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Barasa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
