Barasa Opio Mwende

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Athletic Club
  • Since 1999
  • English, Swahili
I've coached boxing at Dar es Salaam Athletic Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. Thank you for stopping by.
