Barasa Kiprop Nakamya
Teacher at Kasarani Grammar School, loves biology
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Grammar School
- Since 1989
- English, Swahili
For 37 years I have been the biology teacher at Kasarani Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,000 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Barasa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me biology in 2014 at Kasarani Grammar School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
