Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania

I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1992 at Dodoma Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Dodoma Gallery, which keeps me honest.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Barasa: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
