Barasa Kevin Ngowi

Ten years at Unity Reading Room

  • 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
  • 1990 to 2000
  • English, Swahili
For ten years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Unity Reading Room. I ran the Saturday reading group and the summer reading challenge. I walk the dog by the river. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Barasa: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
