Barasa James Kato
21 years teaching art in Dar es Salaam
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Since 1981
- English
St. Mary's Technical College is my second home. I teach art there since 1981, mostly first-year students.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Barasa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
