I've been a nurse for 27 years, most of them in pediatrics at Liberty Maternity Hospital in Üsküdar. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
