Bappy Shafiq Ali

Woodcarving artist in Rohini

  • 🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India
  • The Bamboo Art Collective
  • Since 1979
  • English, Bengali, French
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1979 at The Bamboo Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at The Bamboo Art Collective, which keeps me honest.

More about Bappy

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
