Bambang Oky Lestari
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
- Old Surakarta Works
- 2003 to 2022
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in auto repair from 2003 to 2022. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 420 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Bambang: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
