Bambang Mulyadi Utomo
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Depok, West Java, Indonesia
- Old Depok Trades Guild
- Since 1990
- English, Indonesian
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 1990 in Depok and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Bambang: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
