Bambang Kurniawan
18 years teaching design and technology in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Sunrise Public School
- Since 2006
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Bambang
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
Subjects taught
What gifts mean to Bambang: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me design and technology in 2006 at Sunrise Public School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Thank you again.
