I've coached cross country at Tiruchirappalli Swimming Club since 2010. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Balaji
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Balaji: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
