- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

For 29 years I've run the chess program at Mumbai Athletic Club in Mumbai. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Balaji: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
