Balaji F. Prabhu
Woodcarving and textiles artist
- 🇮🇳 Surat, Gujarat, India
- Oakwood Studio
- Since 1984
- English, Tamil
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1984 at Oakwood Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Balaji
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
