Bakari Victor Lubega
Coached boxing for 44 years in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Youth Club
- Since 1982
- English, Swahili
I've coached boxing at Kasarani Youth Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Bakari
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Bakari: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
