Bakari Ssemwogerere
Teacher at Nairobi Public School, loves English literature
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Public School

- English
Nairobi Public School was my second home. I taught English literature there from 1978 to 2007, mostly Grade 11.
Over the years I had 930 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Bakari
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Bakari: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
