Bakari Otieno Githinji
Coached cross country for 33 years in Nakuru
- 🇰🇪 Nakuru, Nakuru, Kenya
- 1982 to 2015
- English, Swahili
I coached cross country at Sunrise Community Club from 1982 to 2015. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Bakari
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
