Bakari Opio Mutebi
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kakamega, Kakamega, Kenya
- Little Kakamega Works
- 1996 to 2011
- English, Swahili, French
I'm a pottery specialist. If you live around Kakamega, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
What gifts mean to Bakari: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
