Bakari Brian Ssebuliba
Bicycle repair, done properly
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Trades Guild
- 1990 to 2023
- English, Swahili
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1990 in Kasarani and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Bakari
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Bakari: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
