Bagus Umar Lie
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Shop
- 2003 to 2018
- English, Indonesian
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 2003 in Jakarta and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Bagus: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
