Babu Liton Das
Painter, potter and teacher at Northside Pottery
- 🇧🇩 Khulna, Khulna, Bangladesh
- Northside Pottery
- Since 2009
- English
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2009 at Northside Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Babu
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Babu: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
