I spent 35 years as a lecturer in materials science at Unity Institute of Technology in Lagos. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Babatunde: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
