Babatunde Kunle Anyanwu

Table tennis and fitness coach, Zaria

  • 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
  • Holy Cross Sports Club
  • Since 1999
  • English, Yoruba
For 27 years I've run the table tennis program at Holy Cross Sports Club in Zaria. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.

More about Babatunde

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Babatunde: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
