Babar Muhammad Lashari
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- The Mardan Works
- Since 1987
- English
I'm a leatherwork specialist. If you live around Mardan, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
More about Babar
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Babar: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
