Ayumi Harumi Ota

Retired drama teacher from Brookfield Academy

  • 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
  • 2005 to 2019
  • Japanese
For 14 years I was the drama teacher at Brookfield Academy. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Ayumi

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
