Ayumi Emi Wada
Hockey and fitness coach, Shinjuku

- 1983 to 1995

I coached hockey at Orchid Swimming Club from 1983 to 1995. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
