I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
