I coached softball at Mysuru Youth Club from 2006 to 2019. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
