Ayesha Javeria Butt
Sitar and piano teacher
- 🇵🇰 Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan
- Hyderabad Quartet
- 1978 to 2007
- English
I play sitar and piano. I started in 1978 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ayesha
I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
