Ayanda K. Du Plessis
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Since 2015
- English, Zulu
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 2015 in Johannesburg and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Ayanda
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Ayanda: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.

You fixed our roof in 2022 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Khon Kaen.
