Masonry, done properly
- 🇿🇦 Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa
- Old Orchid Trades Guild
- 2001 to 2013
- English
I've worked in masonry from 2001 to 2013. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 540 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ayanda
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
