I've been a nurse for 17 years, most of them in palliative care at Redwood Regional Medical Center in Johannesburg. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I watch every football match going.
I'm still learning every day.
